Group Classes
About the Groups...
Group classes are available two Saturdays a month at the Eclectic Etude home studio locally in Artesia, NM. Here are some of the types of classes we have offered so far. Classes are not continuously limited to these topics, as we will continue to grow, change, & develop new and better ideas for these group classes to better serve you and the community! *Rhythmic Drum Circles *Musical Escape Rooms *Computer Music Composition *Art & Music Fusion *Music Classes Featuring Guest Instructors *Mini Musical Theater Workshops and much much more... Classes will be divided into two age groups: The first group's time is from 9:30-10:30 and it is specifically for 1st-5th graders. The second group's time is from 11:00-12:00 and it's specifically for 6th-12th graders. You can enroll in one of these group classes whether or not you are a current student or a brand new attendee ! You don't have to be associated with the studio in any way in order to come to a class. It is the same price for everyone to attend: $35/person. There is a $5 discount per person if you are enrolling multiple family members such as siblings. If you are currently on the waiting list for individual lessons, this is a great way for your child to get to know their future instructor, get established in the studio, and gain friends their age with similar interests. The studio will put out promotions from time to time like "early bird specials" and physical coupons for various reasons. If the student beats an escape room with time to spare, they will take home with them a $5/off certificate to use toward their next class!
Types of Unlock Harmony Classes that are being offered can include (but won't be limited to):
Musical Escape Rooms
Musical Escape rooms are for all ages. Each class offers a different theme to allow the students to find fresh clues and solve new puzzles each month. The participants will begin by filling out a name tag first thing when they come in and then they enter in to a drawing for a special prize at the end. The partcipants then receive about 8-10 minutes of instruction to help them understand and learn a new musical concept that is implemented into the escape room clues. At the front of the studio, there will be a giant projector screen displaying a countdown timer with audio warnings every 5 minutes that keep the participant on toes and feeling a sense of urgency to escape within the given time. Participants are typically split into groups and they compete against each other to get out the quickest. The winning team each receives a $5 off coupon toward their next Unlock Harmony class. Unlock Harmony Musical Escape rooms are quickly gaining popularity and momentum. We are continuously coming up with new and improved ideas to make the musical escape rooms an unforgett able experience for everyone.
